Our History

The Oneiric Institute was established in 1976 with a singular vision: to understand the language of our dreams. For centuries, sleep was considered a passive state, a "loss of time" essential only for physical restitution. We believed otherwise.

Founded by Dr. Alexander Weiss, a pioneer in the field of psychogenics, the Institute began as a small research post in Zurich before relocating to its permanent headquarters in Washington state in 1980.
